Who We Are

Our Approach

We provide intentional, thoughtful, and Spirit-led placement of pediatric therapy and academic professionals who are equipped, compassionate, and aligned with each child’s unique needs.

From sourcing and interviewing to vetting and testing, we ensure only the most qualified, heart-aligned candidates are presented to our clients.

Our Mission

SPED is more than Special Education. It is Strategic Professional Proficient Delivery — the standard of excellence we uphold to find the right people, at the right time, with the right heart so that every neurodiverse child receives dignified, consistent, and meaningful therapy and educational services.

“Every placement is personal. Every child deserves consistency, dignity, and a team that shows up — every time.”

What is SPED Recruiting?

SPED Recruiting is a community-centered workforce initiative designed to strengthen the developmental, therapeutic, and special education ecosystem in Fort Bend County and surrounding areas. We connect qualified SPED and Pediatric Therapy professionals with the local clinics and private schools that need them most - using a sponsor-funded model that expands access and reduces waitlists for families.

Through partnerships with local businesses and community sponsors, we provide fully funded recruiting support to organizations that often lack internal hiring capacity. This allows small clinics and schools to grow sustainably while ensuring families receive timely, consistent care.

Our Services

SPONSOR-FUNDED RECRUITING SUPPORT

We provide no-cost recruiting support for small clinics and private schools that do not have internal hiring teams.

PRIORITY PLACEMENT LIST

Organizations without internal recruiting teams receive first consideration when new placement opportunities open.

FUNDED WAITLIST FOR LARGER CLINICS AND SCHOOLS

Larger clinics and schools with internal recruiters can join our funded waitlist and access our candidate pipeline when their capacity is limited.

COMMUNITY IMPACT PARTNERSHIPS

Corporate sponsors underwrite the placement of qualified professionals into local organizations to expand access to developmental, therapeutic, and educational services for families.

Founder & Lead Recruiter

About the Founder

I am an autism parent first. My journey into SPED Recruiting began through my own child’s experiences and the gaps I witnessed in schools and ABA clinics — inconsistent support, limited 1:1 staffing, and high turnover that directly impacts a child’s progress.

With a decade of HR and recruiting experience, I felt called to step in — not as an outsider, but as someone who understands the stakes personally. SPED Recruiting was created to ensure neurodiverse children receive compassionate, qualified, and consistent support. My work is also ministry, advocacy, and stewardship, and I believe every child deserves a team that honors their dignity, supports their growth, and reflects God’s heart for them.

Personally, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, exploring beautiful scenes around the city with my son who loves photography, and serving as a Mentor for the Fort Bend County Juvenile Detention Center, supporting young girls with hope and guidance.

With Love,
Simone Brooks
